1. Prepare the breeding tank: When the ornamental fish enter the breeding period, in order to prevent the female fish and the fish eggs from being attacked, it is generally necessary to prepare a special breeding tank. The tank must use raw water, so that the fish will not be stimulated after entering, and the bad condition of the body will be avoided.
2. Water temperature and water quality: In order to ensure that the female fish can spawn safely and the young fish can grow better, the pH of the water must be maintained between 4.5 and 5.5, and the water temperature must be controlled at about 27 ℃. It should be noted that the first day after the tank do not change water, then change once a day, each time about 5 cm of new water.
3. Put the parent fish: Put the female fish and male fish into the breeding tank, and feed them once a day. After stopping feeding, remove the residual bait immediately to avoid polluting the water quality. Wait for the parent fish to enter the reproductive state, and then lay eggs and fertilize.
4. Maintenance of young fish: However, after the parent fish spawns, it is necessary to fish it out immediately to prevent it from swallowing the fish eggs. Then the water temperature should be controlled at 25-26 C, and oxygen should be exploded at the same time, so that the fish eggs can be hatched healthily. Young fish do not need to be fed for one day after hatching, and then they can be fed with a little migratory water.
